Carol here, and I love hockey goalies. Simple as that. I started with a blogger site (ilovegoalies.blogspot.com) where I post articles along with the photos. And then I thought, why not branch out to a different audience on tumblr, so here I am. I especially focus on their masks, because I find them fascinating.
This site will be lots of photos of the goalies...mostly NHL, but others will make appearances too. José Theodore will always be my favorite, but I try not to play favorites on here. ;)

Mike Smith has worn a Looney Tunes themed Wile E. Coyote mask since he joined the Phoenix Coyotes. The mask design has become an icon and we decided to evolve the design for the 2013 NHL season.
The twist on this year’s addition is that it includes a personal touch. On the sides of the mask you will find Smitty’s two sons decked out in hockey gear
